Holiday In Cornwall – Winter 2021 – Part 2

PART 2

Days 5 – 8

Mommy, Dad and I went on holiday to Cornwall.  We rented a small cottage (Boar’s House) in Tredinnick.  We had 7 nights and 8 days there, and we visited many different places.

Day 5

We went to the Lizard. This is the most southerly point of the mainland UK. I saw a seal bobbing in the water. Dad thought it was a botte in the water. We walked a short route around The Lizard Lighthouse. After lunch we went to Kynance Cove. The tide was in ):

On the way back the cottage we stopped off at Long Rock Beach. I got to see St Michael’s Mount.

Day 6

We had a busy day. We saw a few rainbows on the way to our first stop of the day. We visited Levent Mine and Beam Engine and then drove down to Crown Engine Houses at Botallack Mine. We had to hide in the tunnels when the rain got really heavy.

On the way back to the cottage we stopped off at Porthcurno Beach. I played in the stream, Mommy was freezing.

Day 7

This was our last whole day so we decided to visit Wheal Coats Tin Mine. We walked down to Towanroath Shaft Pumping Engine House. After lunch we drove to Chapel Porth Beach. There was a lot of sand and I got to play in the water. My boots got soaking wet.

Day 8

In the morning we packed up. On the way home we stopped off at Bedruthan (NO!) Steps. It was really really windy so we didn’t stay for very long.
