Holiday in Cornwall - Spring 2022 - Part 1

PART 1 Days 1 – 4

As we enjoyed our last holiday in Cornwall so much we decided to go back again. This time we rented Chywolow Lodge in Great Bosullow. It looked like a BIG wooden shed. We stayed for 6 nights and 7 days and managed to visit many different places.

Day 1

We arrived at Chywolow Lodge at 4pm and unpacked. We cound not go anywhere as it was too windy, but I tried my scooter on the path around the lodge.

Day 2

In the morning I had a go at flying my new kite I got for Christmas. In the afternoon we went to Sennen Cove Beach. When I got back to the van my feet were wet.

Day 3

We decided to revisit Botallack Mine as it was dry this time. We walked down the coastal path to the Crown Engine Houses. We then followed the coastal path back to the West Wheal Owles Engine House. It was extremely windy in the entrance to the engine house. It nearly blew me over. We decided to walk back to the van through the farm lanes, it was REALLY smelly. On the way back to the lodge we stopped off at Pendeen Lighthouse.

Day 4

We parked at Cape Cornwall and walked down a very steep hill to Priest Cove. It was extremely windy and the waves were massive. In the afternoon I got to play on Long Rock Beach again.
