Holiday In Cornwall – Spring 2022 – Part 2

PART 2

Days 5 – 7

As we enjoyed our last holiday in Cornwall so much we decided to go back again. This time we rented Chywolow Lodge in Great Bosullow. It looked like a BIG wooden shed. We stayed for 6 nights and 7 days and managed to visit many different places.

Day 5

We parked Sennen Cove Harbour again, this time we walked up Mayon Cliff to see the Old Coastguard Lookout. In the distance I could see the Longship Lighthouse. There were A LOT of midges. After we took a family photo I spotted a little rocky outcrop at the base of the cliff. On top was a rock that looked like a Budgie, so i called it MOUNT BUDGIE!!!

On the way back to the logde we stopped off at Ballowall Barrow (Carn Gluze) to have a look around. when we got back Dad, Mommy and I baked a yogurt cake, bread rolls and a loaf of bread. (Dad had to need the bread. He was NOT happy hahahahahahhaha!!!)

Day 6

Today we visited Gwithian Beach for the first time. It was very sunny so I got to paddle in the sea up to my knees. In the evening we went to watch the sunset at Cape Cornwall. It was the best sunset I have ever seen.

Day 7

We packed up and headed home. On the way we stopped off at Wheal Peevor.
